USA Dealer Profile: Don Wigston

How long have you been a Corsair Marine dealer?

Since 1998

Why do you enjoy representing Corsair as a brand and its products?

We love representing Corsair because we love to share with others our enthusiasm for cruising and racing our own Corsairs. It’s easy to love selling Corsairs when you love sailing them yourself. Our favorite phrase heard from potential customers on their first test sail is “Where have I been all my (sailing) life?” And our favorite phrase to hear after they have owned their own Corsair for some time is “Have I told you lately how much I love my Corsair?” The other aspect about being a Corsair dealer we find particularly rewarding is that we meet so many interesting people from all walks of life, many of whom have become treasured life-long friends.

 Where you are located?

In Mary Esther, Florida, near Destin and Pensacola, on the “Emerald Coast” – the north coast of the Gulf of Mexico. Famous for emerald green water, pure white sand beaches and superb cruising grounds especially for shallow draft boats like Corsairs.

What services do you offer related to the Corsair?

Windcraft specializes in sales and service of Corsair trailerable trimarans. Our mission is to provide our customers with the best possible service before and during the purchase phase and throughout their ownership period. I try to be available seven days a week, evenings included, for advice and assistance. Windcraft offers a full line of replacement parts for Corsair trimarans, replacement sails, custom-built high performance rudders and daggerboards, replacement nets and trampolines, furling systems for jibs, screachers and spinnakers and synthetic rigging from the industry leader Colligo Marine. We also offer one-on-one sailing lessons and coaching at any level from beginner to full-on racer, as well as group sailing clinics.

It’s great you attended the Gulf Coast Show!

Yes we did!  Gulf Coast Yacht and Boat Show, April 5-7 in Gulfport, Mississippi. We had a Dash 750 in the water at Dock 5, Slip 7. Test sails were available after the show.
