Cockpits have grab rails and tether points in all the right places. After all we are real sailors, we know that when you’re zipping along at over 20 knots, you definitely want to be able to hold on.

The decks of our 1600 are completely clear of any hazards: sheets run back along line rails, keeping them out the way, and the daggerboards on all Seawind models (with this feature) are recessed into the hull. Lockers and hatches all flush to the deck. So, if you’re moving around the deck while underway, you don’t need to worry about tripping over something and hurting yourself or, worst case scenario, going overboard.

You’ll find everything onboard a Seawind feels as though it is where it should be. Handholds are found in all the right places, steps are all at convenient locations, seating is comfortable and you’ll find lighting and light switches easy to access and easy to use. Small touches, we know, but we feel it is the attentions to detail we place in our designs that keep our owners happy and is why we have one of the highest rates of repeat buyers of any catamaran builder.
